Fabulous location and fine for a couple of days
The location is superb especially if arriving by train into Paddington. All staff on reception were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable although on the small side. Well appointed bathroom but again very small. Loved the White Company soap, shower gel etc. Small fridge replenished with water, orange and cola on request. Good air conditioning/heating system.
Fabulous location
Now my review relates to the hotel alone and not to Bella Italia which I will cover separately. The hotel really is ideally situated if arriving by train at Paddington station. You just have to exit the station to your left (with the trains behind you), cross the road ahead (Praed Street) and turn right into London Street and the hotel is a few hundred meters on your right. Check in was easy and welcoming. In fact we felt all the reception staff were friendly and efficient. The room was small but typical for the UK with very high ceilings. The room was well appointed but lacked a kettle which was a shame. Not everyone wants black coffee first thing in the morning. The beds were quite firm and after a hard day sightseeing in London, it would have been nice to have a softer bed!! The bathroom was very cramped and would be uncomfortable for a larger person. The shower was the rainfall type but annoyingly kept dripping when turned off. The toiletries were from the White Company and lovely. There was also some water, cola and orange juice in the fridge which they would replenish each day if you asked. The worst thing about the room was the fact that it was very dark. Even with the lights on, it wasn’t easy for a woman to put makeup on!
Overall we were really happy with the hotel and would stay here again. However, breakfast is a totally different thing. Firstly, it is served in Bella Italia which is sort of part of the hotel and accessed via a door from reception. I really didn’t like having to ask at reception for our breakfast vouchers every day. I couldn’t understand why the vouchers weren’t just given to us at check in. We weren’t even told we needed them so the first morning was a bit embarrassing. The food itself was lovely and plentiful. However, the staff were dreadful. There was only one young lady that I would give a job to, the rest seriously need to rethink their career choices. They left us waiting for ages to order and when I asked if I could order, I got a look as if I was asking for the impossible. Unless breakfast was included in the price, then I certainly wouldn’t pay for it. Not because of the quality or quantity but because of the rude, incompetent and useless staff
just seriously great seriously great

I come from London but now live in Dublin this has to be value wise the best hotel in London the staff are fantastic the room is spotless with even a fridge the location is literally one min from the Heathrow express five tube stops from west end the breakfast supine there is absolutely nothing to dislike I will never stay anywhere else in London again and trust me I’ve been all over the world I’m not that easy to impress thank u everyone at the Indigo for making our time in London perfect
it was fantastic
simple, functional, good bed, everything works
Excellent service from a hotel convenient for Paddington station.
Selected this hotel for it’s location, extremely convenient for Paddington station, and because it is an IHG hotel.
I did not have high expectations, but was very pleasantly surprised.
The welcome at reception was perfect - friendly, knew my IHG status, upgraded my room, briefed me on breakfast.
Room was really good. Small, but clean and tidy. Good bathroom, compact but with walk in shower and good water pressure (not always obvious in London). Room was on the street (but no noise).
Breakfast was busy (and I had been warned that it would be peak time), but staff were friendly and worked quickly.
Nothing to complain about. Just really good all round.
They even have a nice, compact, gym
