It’s #PrideMonth and although we are very proud to be a part of the Booking.com “Travel Proud” program, we are aware that having a certificate stating that we are welcoming to the LGBTQ+ community isn’t enough.

Hotels and travel companies are increasingly developing annual LGBTQ+-friendly programs beyond the month of June. As progressive as this maybe, it is becoming less of a main factor for LGBTQ+ guests when considering accommodation.

We encourage all of our guests to Live Proud; IHG’s CEO Keith Barr says, "A cornerstone of our culture is our passion and commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion (DE&I), which sits at the heart of our purpose to provide True Hospitality for Good.”

At Hotel Indigo London Paddington, and our other hotels respectfully, we have made the conscious decision to focus on equity in lock step with diversity and inclusion because we know it's impossible to achieve any of these without the others.

We welcome all our LGBTQ+ community with the same care and respect to any guest and we encourage our guests to give us continuous feedback to ensure that we are keeping up to our self-imposed standards.
